Message from CEO
 I believe that education is a primary driver of opportunity, prosperity and equality around the world. And ITC is uniquely positioned to make a real contribution, by extending the reach of high quality education and the benefits that it brings.
For ITC, 2009 was a year of taking stock and setting directions. We highlighted new synergies within the organisation, and developed and refined our strategy for the coming three years. During our review we also developed a new purpose and future statement for the organisation:
Our Purpose: Unlocking potential through learning.
Our Future:We will build on our core strengths of solid operations, quality engaged teams and the reputation of ITC and UOW.
By matching emerging sources of student demand with expanded offerings in Australia, the Middle East, and beyond, we will extend the reach of high quality tertiary education and the benefits that it brings.
In 2010 we will demonstrate our commitment to delivering on our new strategic priorities and continue expanding the scope of our operations. We will work towards our aspirational target of doubling our activities by 2015, and fuel our desire to provide the benefits of a high quality education to more people, in more places, in more ways.
While the environment in which we operate is not without its challenges, we are well positioned for the next phase of our development. Our Higher Education Provider status and our Registered Training Organisation accreditation positions us well to benefit from the current regulatory changes in the Australian education sector as a dual sector provider.
We are proud to be a significant contributor to the success of the local and regional communities in which we operate, to our primary shareholder, the University of Wollongong, and to the international private education sector as a whole. In 2010 we will work towards adding even greater strategic value to these communities.
The commitment and drive of the ITC team will ensure we meet head on, any challenges that may arise over this coming year, and that we will continue to achieve success for our staff, customers, community and other shareholders.
