The Awards are an opportunity for colleagues, family and friends to celebrate the achievements and service of staff.

The major award that is presented at the Staff Awards for Excellence is the ITC Group Employee of the Year.

The winner for 2008 is Catriona Loncar.

Catriona is the Management Accountant for the ITC Group and, at the time of receiving her award, had been with the company for nearly eight years.

She is responsible for the production of the annual budget, compilation of regular forecasts, the distribution of monthly financial reports and a myriad of other accounting tasks that enable the board and management to understand the financial operation of the ITC companies. The role can be quite demanding, with frequent ‘ad-hoc requests’ often conflicting with regular tasks and activities.

This award recognises the exemplary way in which Catriona approaches her role within the ITC Group and continues to deliver superior client service year after year.

Catriona deals with all issues to a high standard but it is through her ability to interact with people that Catriona really shines. She takes the time to de-mystify the often confusing world of accounting and goes out of her way to assist all people from front line College and UniAdvice staff, to managers wishing to understand the financial implications of various decisions.

The numerous compliments received for Catriona are testimony to the high regard she is held within ITC.

Catriona is a worthy winner of the 2008 Employee of the Year.
